Thrustmaster of Texas, Inc. Manufactures heavy duty commercial marine propulsion and thrusters. The factory and production of all thrusters is based out of Houston, Texas with a global network of sales offices in Rotterdam, Singapore, China, Dubai, and Brazil. Do you have a calibrate function under the Test Input tab mentioned earlier? I have this wheel and recommend all who have it to get the calibration tool linked to in an above post. The wheel is good but does need a little help just to get it perfect. As for my settings Im not yet playing 2013 but in all the others I have 0% everywhere except brakes where I keep it at 3% (I hover my foot over the brake at all times and get paranoid about tit) and the steering linearity I keep to 100% so that the amount I turn the wheel is the same as I see while in the cockpit.

When I would fly with keyboard instead with the mod installed, I would make an adjustment and then the same counter-input would still show up as soon as I released the key, resulting in sluggish response or at worst completely cancelling out my heading changes. It was weird and I'm not sure what caused it, but I hope to fix it later because flying with a stick is awesome when it works right!

Although that means I can't program the HOTAS, virtually all the controls can be mapped with AFBW to the functions I want inside KSP. If AFBW doesn't recognize the HOTAS, check that it appears in the regular Windows Control Panel. Go to the Control Panel, search for Joystick in the upper right search box and then click on Set up USB game controllers. If the Saitek X52 Flight Controller doesn't show up in the list of game controllers in the Game Controllers dialog box, try unplugging the HOTAS, waiting 10 seconds and then plugging it back in. If the Saitek still doesn't appear, try reinstalling just the plain drivers. If you still get nothing, it's possible there's a problem with your joystick that Saitek should fix. Flying a plane can be squirrelly without the fine controls on, unless its a slow to respond behemoth. The stick gives such RESPONSIVE input that you will do a LOT of unexpected aerobatics. Have always played this with a joystick and throttle, personally I like it a lot, doesn't always provide the easiest system like with rendezvous but that's more of a setup issue. Only issue I've come across is that when using things like mechjeb the throttle doesn't automatically reset to its physical position. So if your throttle is set to max and mechjeb move it to zero and you need to perform a throttle maneuver, you will end up activating the engine to max for a second, and when doing delicate maneuvers this is tricky. Furthermore great system! I tried flying a bit with Advanced Fly By Wire for a while with my Warthog, but I kept having a weird problem with control soak-back (for lack of a better term), basically after centering the stick it would give a counter-input in the opposite direction resulting in weird stuttering control response.

If you're serious about flying it is absolutely worth every penny. It is plug and play with the DCS A10-C, and all functions are automatically mapped. Worth the cost for the A10 alone.
