Q: Where do I register for the TWPP Limited Warranty? A: Please go to to register your case and device for the TWPP Limited Warranty.

Definitely do the water test like the instructions say. Then put your phone in and repeat the test watching it closely before you trust it completely. I had to reload my phone 3 times before I got a good seal. But I eventually did, so it was my error somewhere. **Update** tried the Seidio waterproof case- didn't like the 2 part port gasket fight each time you want to plug in cable. Settled on the new Incipio Atlas.

I will never go lifeproof again. 2 stars because the product works, but no more because they suckered me. My Husband is an active fisherman/hunter and a truck driver. On his days off he is always hiking through the woods or wading through rivers to find the biggest catch. Then on his work days he is surrounded by dust grit and grime. So when I decided to upgrade his phone to a smartphone my first purchase was a case that is everything proof.

In other words, you don't always need a waterproof case, but the design requires you to use the parts even when not in wet situations. Just 1mm bigger and 90% of headphones would work the times you are in a dry environment. Yes, I use bluetooth, but that's a pain in the butt when listening in bed.

Q: What if my only address is a PO Box? Can you ship to such an address? A: Unfortunately, the shipping method used for Service Requests within the TWPP Limited Warranty is unable to deliver to PO Boxes. If you have another address, please provide this at the time that you submit a Service Request. If a PO Box is entered, upon review of your request, you will be asked to provide an alternate address.

I also ordered a new case directly from them at the same time. Back to the counterfeit case, the case and the box are already decent clones, the box even has the raised details of the REAL box. I have photos posted comparing the boxes as well. I also contacted Amazon after I discovered it was a counterfeit case and they promptly issued a return label and stated I will be receiving a full refund. Their legal department is also looking into the matter. I hope that my review of the case I got AS WELL as my review for my REAL lifeproof case will help anyone protect their phones from water damage.

If you have any issues with your case that you have questions about, please contact LifeProof Customer Support by going to the following link.

A: A pre-paid shipping label will be provided. Q: Where do I ship the damaged phone and case to? A: You will be provided with a pre-paid shipping label that will include all required shipping information. Q: What needs to be included in the package with the phone and case for my Service Request? My second complaint is the price. This case is very expensive considering after about 6 months it starts showing damage that leads me to no longer trust its waterproof-ness, and within a year the rubber and screen start detaching.

A: LifeProof will provide you with a pre-paid shipping label along with your replacement device and LifeProof case. LifeProof will also pay for any return shipping. Q: Where do I get a shipping label?

So I suppose you cant buy it? Well, they might be selling it still. Maybe analyze your choices more, buying a discontinued product.

How do I update my registration information? A: The TWPP Limited Warranty applies only to the original device that was registered; it is not transferrable to a new device. The location of the 'about phone' or device settings page will differ slightly depending on the type of phone you have but it is generally found by gong to SETTINGS (from your home screen)>GENERAL>ABOUT PHONE.then scroll to find IMEI. On some phones it will be found by going to HOME>SETTINGS>ABOUT PHONE>STATUS. Of course you can also find the IMEI in the battery case in phones w/removable batteries and it is engraved on the back of IPhones but you're going to need that screen shot of the device settings page anyway so you might as well find it that way.

Q: What if I do not get a confirmation email? A: If you did not get a confirmation email after you registered, it is possible that the registration was unsuccessful.

There are tons of different available on the market for a variety of smartphones and other devices. The brand is one of the most popular. These cases are known for standing up to almost anything life can throw at them, including water, snow, drops, and dirt. Because of their durability and effectiveness, these cases can be expensive, too. That's why so many buyers are looking for a great deal on a LifeProof case. However, scammers have also caught on to the LifeProof phenomenon, flooding the market with a variety of fake LifeProof products.

Q: What if I lose my card with the code after registration A: In the event that you have lost your card after registration, please contact the TWPP department by calling 877-394-6001. Q: Is there a service fee? A: Yes, there is a service fee to submit and process a Service Request. The service fee is $50 for mobile phones $75 for tablets. Should you ever need to submit a Service Request for your water-damaged device and LifeProof case that you registered for the TWPP Limited Warranty, you will be required to pay the service fee when submitting your request. Q: Who pays for shipping costs of the damaged device and LifeProof case?

The LifeProof case was smooth and slid in and out of my pocket easily but after time lint built up in the case around the bottom speakers and muffled calls. It got to the point where people could not hear me on the phone and I had to take the phone out of the case to talk. That defeated the purpose of a case so I ended up puncturing the areas where the speakers were which rendered the case useless as far as being waterproof. The case protected my phone from drops and the screen never cracked but when I upgraded to the iPhone 6 I chose a different case. THE 5 STAR RATING IS FOR THE REAL LIFEPROOF CASE, The case I received was a counterfeit.

But we all need to take some sort of pill that stops us from spending crazy money for pieces of injected molded plastic. Lifeproof backs their cases with a warranty, and I am sure they are producing these pieces of plastic for under $3 a case. So I am sure it is easy for them to say 'hey, we will send you a new one if yours fails', but lets get real, it has gotten to a point where every phone case company is now making waterproof cases. So I think we need to focus more on price when considering waterproof phone cases. I just look at my case (which after 6 months is falling apart), and hit myself for paying $80. I see generics, new companies, and big companies producing similar items for much better price.

Settled on the new Incipio Atlas. Best of both worlds- waterproof easy to access ports. I am reviewing the Lifeproof fairly. Having used one for 7 months.

So after a thorough hunt on eBay I found a high feedback rated user, located in the UK (so local to me) who was selling ‘Genuine’ LifeProof Cases for the iPhone 5. The case was at a price lower than RRP, but not by a huge amount.

The case may not even close properly! Even the fakes have a serial number, which LifeProof uses in genuine cases for warranty purposes.

Step 1 – Find Your IMEI, MEID or Serial Number Dial the IMEI Code (for Phones) You can retrieve the IMEI/MEID number on virtually any phone by dialing in the universal code. You typically will not need to press the Call or Send button, as the IMEI/MEID number will appear as soon as you finish dialing the code. Or Check Your Settings On most devices, you can find all the relevant serial numbers in the same location in your settings.

(This is after the water test) I also carried out a water test of this case, unsurprisingly it failed miserably! FAKE LifeProof Fre iPhone 5 Case – Water Test: Therefore in conclusion it could not be more simple, when it comes to the LifeProof Fre cases, do NOT buy fake, they are substandard and cheap, offering no protection to your phone at all. This is one such case where only the genuine article should be trusted! Here is the full gallery of images from the FAKE LifeProof Fre Case.

Click on the local resources tab and look at the 'keyboard' section it will say something like 'apply windows key combonations:' and has a drop down style menu. Download desktop locker. Select 'on the remote computer' this will allow you to use keyboard shortcuts like alt tab etc on the rdp Next go to the programs tab. In the 'program path and file name' box type cmd.exe Connect to the RDP On connecting the command prompt window will open instead of windows or the locker. In cmd type 'tasklist' sometimes the list can be long but just look through it for process's like DTLEP.exe which is desktop locker express or Screenblur.exe which is that stupid one with a hand icon lol once u spotted the lockers process type taskkill /f /im DTLEP.exe and it should confirm its killed. Ok from the remote desktop connection window click 'options' to show more options and tabs.

I just ordered it for my iphone 6 plus and will write a review about that. I did have a warrantee issue with the case. The case started to wear in the corner and it ultimately wasn't water proof anymore. I contacted the company and they told me it was guaranteed for life. I set up a warrantee return and they sent me a new case. They have great customer service and stand by their product.

Bottom line, for $80, I expect such a product to last a year. I had the rear door break twice (once in the first week and the store swapped it w/out hassle). The second broke about 6.5 months after I bought it. I tried to save money by buying a replacement back, but then discovered the hatch on the front had a crack, so I had no water proofing, regardless of whether the door was in 1 piece or not. Also, it chagrins me (can you be chagrined?), that you get 1 headphone adapter and 1 spare headphone bung plug in the box. These are designed to be inconvenient/lost and Lifeproof wallops your wallet to get more.

To upload, choose the photo from your screenshots. To Upload From A Computer Follow the instructions above to take a photo of your screen. Then save the image from your device to your computer.

Q: What if my phone already has physical damage prior to filing a Service Request? Q: Will my Service Request be valid if I have made modifications to my LifeProof case? A: Your TWPP Limited Warranty registration will be void if any modifications are made the LifeProof case. Accordingly, any Service Request submitted for a modified case will be denied. Q: If I file a Service Request through the TWPP Limited Warranty, will my insurance policy through my service provider or other warranty services on my electronic device still be valid elsewhere? A: Submitting a Service Request with your TWPP Limited Warranty may void your other insurance or warranty services elsewhere.

And if you have an iHome, you will need to buy a dock extender to be able to drop your phone into the dock. My second complaint is the price. This case is very expensive considering after about 6 months it starts showing damage that leads me to no longer trust its waterproof-ness, and within a year the rubber and screen start detaching. As I said, I'm almost through my second case in two years.

Q: What if I decide to upgrade my device now that it has been damaged? Can I still file a Service Request and have a replacement case sent for the new, upgraded device? A: The TWPP Limited Warranty will only replace a damaged device and Lifeproof case with a product that is of the same make and model with similar functionality to the products that were registered for the TWPP Limited Warranty.

For $80, I figured they'd take the high road and send 2 of each in the box. No, guess there isn't enough profit in an $80 case. I LOVE the fit and finish of this case when it's not broken or you don't have the silly headphone adapter on it. It's thin, feels drop-resistant, and the screen cover works better than the iphone w/out it!
