Vivi and the Ghost reach out to each other, but as Vivi is dragged away, the locket falls to the floor and cracks, turning from golden to an icy blue. The series started with an animated music video for the song Ghost, originally released as a demo on May 8th, 2012, that was released in October 2014, after the official live action video was released on February 6th, 2014. Since the release of the music video for Ghost, two more music videos in the series have been released alongside getting Dubuc's music more attention. History Mystery Skulls is the musical project of indie pop and electronica musician Luis Dubuc, formed in 2011 after ending his previous project The Secret Handshake the same year. He released his debut self-titled EP under the name on December 28th, with five tracks (shown below, left). Arthur's possessed half shoves Lewis off the ledge. Vivi and Arthur's unpossessed half look on in horror as Lewis is impaled by the stalagmites. Lewis becomes the Ghost, and his supernatural energy 'blind' Vivi to the trauma of his violent death by erasing her memory of him. Mystery, in reality a kitsune (a fox-spirit in Japanese folklore), tears Arthur's possessed arm off, freeing him of the 's possession. The flashback ends. The Ghost has cornered Arthur, but Vivi throws herself between them, causing the Ghost to cease his attack. Vivi attempts to touch the Ghost's golden heart locket, but Arthur grabs her hand and races away with her.

Growing enraged, she conjures a pair of shears and lunges at Vivi. Vivi holds her back with the bat; but Shiromori soon gains the upper hand, knocking the bat from Vivi's hands. Mystery Skulls has been the funk- and soul-influenced alias of since he stopped recording as in 2011.
