My last comment is a strange answer. The Lifecam's do work in Windows 10, even with the Anniversary Edition. That wasn't my initial post, though. I wanted to be able to turn Autofocus off, which you cannot do with the Microsoft Lifecam software because the Lifecam software was no longer compatible. So I was looking for a way to do this.
Apr 28, 2018 I have tried more than once to install my new hd-3000 camera software to no avail. Have tried to run as Windows 7 and 8 with no success. I have Windows 10 and have had no trouble install. Connect the USB cable on the LifeCam Cinema to an open USB port when the software prompts you to. With Microsoft killing millions of webcams last year after their anniversary update debacle there still remains a small problem using Microsoft LifeCams (in our instance LifeCam Cinemas). We haven't been able to turn autofocus OFF. Microsoft's latest/last version of LifeCam software (version 3.6) isn't compatible with the current version of Windows 10.
